Win a Dream Date
Once upon a time, Ram Venkatararam, fictitious owner of the Food Here Convenience Store, created a tongue-in-cheek blog on WordPress. For the 2009 celebration of St. Valentine's Day, Ram ran a Dream Date contest, the winner of which would win a date with him. Since he had no employees to cover for him, his plan was to entertain his date in the store. The winner of the Dream Date with Ram contest was to be notified of their good fortune on 14 February, 2009 (Valentine's Day).
This site was well-written, clever, and entertaining. Ram must be a fun fellow! He certainly has a quick, wacky wit. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, Ram has deleted his FoodHere blog (http://foodhere.wordpress.com). We enjoyed it while it lasted. If anyone has further information as to his current whereabouts, please let us know. We'd love to add a new link.
